LACC President’s Message

A Message from the LACC President:

To all Patriots,

Words cannot express the emotional and serious day we had at the “Setting the Record Straight From 2008″ Camdenton Tea Party. The common bond of one, was stronger than any Tea Party I have been to in the last three years. We have heard multiple comments of the same opinion. From the early preparation of the invitations going out to the speakers, to the selecting of music, to the DJ’s, to setting up the stage the night before, picking up the chairs, and early morning set up the morning of the event. Many of us prayed for the weather to hold and God answered our prayer. The decision was made on Friday we would hold our Tea Party outside. We had an outstanding group of Patriots come, and to them, we say thank you, and join our cause to take this country back.

 I wish somehow, I could tell you how so many people contributed to the success of this and all of our Tea Party events. It is everyone chipping in to do the little things that cause these events to be so important. We have the best Patriots in the state of Missouri. How do I know? We have people tell us all of the time.

 

A special thank you to Candidate for Attorney General, Ed Martin, Candidate for Lt. Governor, Cynthia Davis, Mo. State Representative, Paul Curtman, Eighth grade Patriot Sophie Shore, and our very very special guests, Barbara From Harlem and her daughter, Bee Bee. I hope you folks who are able to vote, take a good look at these folks. It seemed quite evident to me they layed it out there very courageously and what they thought we needed to do in this country and our state.

 

I was privileged enough to pick up Barbara From Harlem and Bee Bee at the airport and learned so much from them during each three hour car ride. Both of these ladies were amazed at the outpouring of love and the kind comments said to them following the Tea Party.

 

We also want to thank Lynne Markum from the Benton County Republicans, Phil Todd from Capitol Tea, and Todd Skelton from the Lebanon Tea Party.

 

A special to thank you for the sound equipment and the DJ’s “Big Daddy” and Robin. They were very professional and accommodating and we greatly appreciated their services. Carl Lukosius, graciously hired and paid for their services. Carl’s daughter, Lindsey, also sang the Star Spangled Banner. She did a great job.

 

Thanks to Nancy Steward, Bea Porter and a few other ladies I didn’t know, who worked hard at the tables.

 

Special thanks to Bill & Sky Johnson for allowing the Davis’, and Barbara, and Bee Bee, to stay at their beautiful resort. Also, thanks to Dean  for taking the ladies out on the lake for a wonderful pontoon ride.

 

This is once again, folks gladly sharing what God has given them. They were so overwhelmed with the level of generosity. Tea Party people are the best people in the world!!

 

There were many many people who helped with the above tasks that were too many to mention. Thank you!!!!!!! Without the folks working in the background, none of this would be possible.

 

Thanks to the Board members of the LACC who meet regularly and give of their time and money when a need arises. Most of them, if not all, started in the Camdenton Tea Party before the founding of the Lake Area Conservative Club. They are true conservatives who love their country.

 

Lastly, thanks to my wife, Vicki who loves me, even with my shortcomings, and allows me to pursue the burden that is upon my heart, to help return our nation to Constitutional principles.

We are pleased to announce the By-Laws of the Lake Area Conservative Club have been approved by the Board and are on the new website: LakeAreaConservativeClub.org

Many many people have contributed in the dialogue and decision making over these recent months for the LACC Club to become a reality. To those we would like to say a hearfelt, Thank you!

A special THANKS to our friends, Attorney, Gary Smith and CPA, Joe Roeger for the time and wisdom they have contributed in preparing the By-Laws and filing of the necessary paperwork.

It is our belief building the Lake Area Conservative Club and the Camdenton Tea Party, and its members working as one unit will build this organization into a powerful group where we can attract, support and, direct our legislators to be Constitutionally Conservative, no matter the party affiliation. We want your participation, we want this club to be your club.

Additionally, we as a group believe education is the most important aspect the LACC can offer in teaching people, and each other, what it means to be free, and why we are a free Nation. Most importantly, how our Constitution was formed and to share the vision our forefathers envisioned for our Country. A free people with unalienable rights with a limited Government whereas the States have the rights to determine their destiny unfettered

To those individuals who graciously donated their time and wisdom toward the cause of Liberty, we thank you for your service. You all are Patriots.

The Lake Area Conservative Club is a 501(c)4 Not for Profit Political organization. Annual Membership dues will be 10.00 per person and we invite you to join.
